„(…) I must admit that Ms. Kühne does have an enchanting, immensely expressive voice without those sounds that seem to turn some folks off. Although Mr. Ullmann is mostly known for being a resourceful reeds player, here he uses loops and samples, to layer Ms. Kuhne’s voice in selective and mysterious ways. On the first few pieces, things are stripped down to just one or two voices and the occasional sax or bass clarinet swirls. I dig the way Ullmann loops both the voice and sax together on this pieces bringing them together as one strange yet enticing sound. The duo do perform one standard called, „I’ll Be Seeing You“, which they strip down to an exquisite lullaby of sorts. I like the way Ms. Kuhne uses her voices in slivers and fragments, never screaming or calling too much attention to herself. There are a few times when both she and Gebhard cut loose and twists their sounds into odd fractures but never for very long. Ms. Kuhne often has a child-like grace or subtly which makes her charming and this music breathes, never taking over too much. Consistently splendid. – Bruce Lee Gallanter, DMG
